Seanergy 2023: IFPEN and GreenWits make their mark at a key moment in the industry

With over 10 years of research work in wind energy, IFPEN, through its Carnot IFPEN Ressources Energétiques (Carnot RE), is participating for the first time in Seanergy 2023, the international forum dedicated to offshore renewable energy, on June 20th and 21st at Paris Porte de Versailles. This is an opportunity to discover its subsidiary, GreenWits, at a time when the wind energy sector is calling for the mobilization of all stakeholders.

Did you know? Europe, including the United Kingdom, aims for a offshore wind power production capacity of 300 GW by 2050, which is 10 times more than today. This ambitious goal will be achieved through the ongoing commitment of the industry, which has been growing for almost 10 years.

This is the purpose of Seanergy, which takes place under the high patronage of Emmanuel Macron, with the support of the French Ministry of Energy Transition: to support, gather, and strengthen the synergies of all stakeholders in the offshore wind and renewable marine energy sectors to accelerate their development.

For over 10 years, the teams at Carnot IFPEN RE have been working on developing solutions across the entire value chain, from resource assessment to wind turbine maintenance. At this crucial moment for the industry, IFPEN has also decided to accelerate its efforts by creating a subsidiary called GreenWits, which offers advanced digital services for project developers and operators.
